Privacy Policy for AstroFeel
AstroFeel is a Vedic astrology application that helps users calculate Janma Rashi, Nakshatra, Pada, and view date-based horoscope content.
This Privacy Policy explains how AstroFeel accesses, uses, stores, and protects user data.

2. What Data the App Uses
AstroFeel may access or process the following user-provided data:
- first name
- father/spouse name
- date of birth
- time of birth
- birth place
- language selection
- saved horoscope profile data
AstroFeel may also access device location if the user chooses the "Use Current Location" option.
3. How the Data Is Used
- calculating Vedic astrology results
- identifying Janma Rashi, Nakshatra, and Pada
- showing daily horoscope content
- displaying birth chart content
- saving user readings locally on the device
- restoring saved readings later
- helping users search for a birth place
4. Data Storage
Most AstroFeel user data is stored locally on the user's device using local app storage. This includes current profile details, saved horoscope profiles, and saved results.
AstroFeel does not currently operate a dedicated developer backend for user profile storage.
5. Data Shared with Third Parties
AstroFeel does not sell user data.
AstroFeel may send place search queries to a third-party geocoding/search provider when the user manually searches for a location in the app. This is used only to return matching place suggestions.
At the time of writing, the app uses OpenStreetMap Nominatim for location suggestions.
6. Location Data
If the user chooses "Use Current Location", the app may access device location for birth place entry convenience. Current location is used for app functionality only and stored locally as part of the user's horoscope profile.
7. Data Retention
Because AstroFeel stores most user information locally on the user's device, the data remains available until the user clears app data, uninstalls the app, or overwrites saved profiles.
8. Data Deletion
Users can remove local AstroFeel data by:
- uninstalling the app
- clearing app storage/data from Android settings
9. Security
AstroFeel uses reasonable measures to protect app data within the current app design. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Children
AstroFeel is not specifically directed toward children.
11. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes should be reflected in the latest published version of this policy.
